Barbara is a pioneer in print on the other side of Wallace Line. I cannot even imagine the challenges socially, in business and in health. you were always driven to support, promote and expand the beauty of Lombok and her Gilis.

Focus on the aim, challenged by the nuances, I’m so proud that you were powered through… thick and thin… focused, smiling, sharing and always giving more… your love of Lombok could not be dampened… I think they tried… maybe they did not understand or appreciate the depth of your passion and the breadth of your medium. I, as I am sure more than I, live in gratitude and celebrate your tenacity, passion and love of your craft.

You were also blessed with a husband that completed the dream and reality. I can only bless both of you and recognise the amazing work, creativity, challenges that both of you went through to bring The Lombok Guide into physicality EVERY 2 weeks… few people understand the gargantuan task… in celebration and gratitude…
