I don’t like noodles and I’m not particularly fond of Chinese food. Why is it then that, almost every time we visit Kuta, we head to Jiang Nan? There’s something about the way this quirky little eatery combines flavours and freshness that has me wanting more!
The interior is cool and dimly lit, with a rustic décor of wooden tables, thatch and bamboo. It’s always filled with the hum of contented diners enjoying well-crafted food.
Try the mouthwatering Pork Wonton drenched in rich Chili Oil or the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles with tender slices of lamb stir-fried with cumin and house-made flat noodles.
Also highly recommended is the Spicy Prawn and Garlic noodle, with a generous serving of prawns tossed with hand-made noodles, garlic, chili, soy and black vinegar, and cucumber and bean sprouts to add some crunch.
You’ll find Jiang Nan on Jl Raya Kuta, between Bush Radio and Blue Marlin Dive. On Wednesday night, all dumplings are just 30k!

Sensatia Botanicals is an Indonesian beauty care brand offering products made from certified natural ingredients. Made in Bali with ingredients sourced from all over the world, all Sensatia Botanicals are free of parabens, SLS and silicones, without palm oil, synthetic colors and artificial fragrances. Best of all, the products are not tested on animals.
Entering the store, shoppers are greeted with the lovely smell of essential oils from the range of hand-made soaps, body washes, shampoos, skin care and hand creams on offer.
