There’s an exciting new buzz on the Lombok restaurant scene and its name is SPICE!
Located above ‘the Sheraton hill’, just a minute north of central Senggigi, SPICE Lounge, Bar and Restaurant is housed in a two-storey building commanding stunning views over the ocean to Bali, with sweeping coastal views to the north and as far south as the Sekotong coast.
The building, originally a purpose-built restaurant, sat vacant for many years and it is wonderful to see it brought back to life and remodeled to take advantage of its prime location. The theme is light and spacious, with sophisticated tones of grey and white; relaxed and yet up-market.
That’s the conclusion of leading hoteliers and investment companies at the end of the Lombok Tourism Development Forum 2016 held at Qunci Villas, Lombok on 11 and 12 May.
This is the second year that the Lombok Tourism Development Forum has been held in Lombok and hosted by Qunci Villas and leading Singapore-based hospitality investment firm Tourism Solutions International (TSI).
LION AIR SUSPENDS 227 FLIGHTS OVER ONE MONTH PERIOD
The Jakarta Globe reports that Lion Air has suddenly suspended 93 domestic and 2 international flights shortly after sanctions were imposed on the airline by the Ministry of Transportation.
The Transportation Ministry gave Lion Air a five-day suspension on their entire ground handling operations after Lion Air’s ground handling staff reportedly took 182 passengers arriving on a flight from Singapore on 10 May to Soekarno-Hatta domestic arrivals terminal instead of its international arrivals terminal, bypassing immigration checkpoints in the process.
