It’s great to see a story titled “Stay and Surf in Beautiful Lombok”, published this month on the news.au.com website for Australia, after a group of travel agents and journalists visited our island for the first Jetstar direct Perth-Lombok flight on 24 September 2013.

Lombok is well known for its fantastic natural landscapes and trekking is a popular activity for visitors – whether it is climbing our volcano, Mt Rinjani, trekking through jungles to find hidden waterfalls, or taking peaceful strolls through traditional villages and along the edges of rice paddies.

Senggigi on 19 October. Derek Pugh, also a published author, officially launched “Crazy
Little Heaven” in Lombok and Mark read an excerpt from the
book, before playing songs from the cd of the same title, together
with talented local musician Qisie.
